The Centre for Prophetic Activism, The Community Healing and Caring Center, and United Theological Seminary have teamed up to host the Prophetic Activism - 2023 Immersion Pilgrimage to Ghana.
The trip is both a prophetic pilgrimage and an experiential cultural mission for Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry scholars, diaspora Africans, members of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities, and others. Experience Ghanaian culture, seminaries and churches, cuisine, the open markets, the rich history of the nation, the Door of No Return, and much more!
Join us in Ghana with an option of staying one week (October 5 - 13 - Group 1) or two weeks (October 5 - 20 - Group 2). Participants will return from the pilgrimage with a renewed awakening of self, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Note: United Theological Seminary (UTS) scholars in the Master of Divinity program who participate in the pilgrimage will receive credit for the 2023 Fall Semester academic coursework. UTS masters-level students must register intentions to join the pilgrimage by emailing Robbie Collins at firstname.lastname@example.org and registering for CM621 spring or fall 2023 with the Registrar. MDiv students from other schools may enroll as a non-degree students at UTS to register for the course and get credit (course prerequisites are required).
